By using this service and making a booking you accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use this service.

This notice is issued by Ascension Sports Therapy. If you have any questions relating to these Terms please contact us by email at info@ascensionsportstherapy.co.uk. 

Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.   

By booking an appointment, the consumer agrees to the Terms of Service of Ascension Sports Therapy and it's policies.
 

According to the terms of this agreement, the Business agrees to deliver the described service to the Customer with reasonable care and skill (in accordance with your consumer rights) and the Customer agrees to pay for and accept this service.

Full payment is required at the time of booking without exception. All treatment fees are payable through our site, or over the telephone. Payments can also be made in our studio for future bookings via one of our contactless card readers.

All card transactions made via Ascension Sports Therapy are protected and encrypted by Square, Inc.   

Pricing

All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to change at any time. 

Booking
You may make a booking up to 24 hours in advance.

Your payment details will be requested at the time of booking and payment will be collected to finalise your appointment.

Full payment of the treatment fee is due at the time of booking the service. Full details of the prices are referred to on our 'book’ page. 

Once your booking is accepted by us, you will receive confirmation of your appointment from us via text/email.

Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes unexpected delays can occur. You have a contractual entitlement to cancel or reschedule any booking you have made with us in the following circumstances and on these described terms;

Our Policy:

Subject to the cancellation being a Late Cancellation (as described below), if you change your mind about your booking prior to the agreed appointment start time in that booking, then your booking will be treated as cancelled. We will not levy a cancellation fee if you cancel your booking;

• at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Appointment Time; or
• if the Appointment Time falls within twenty-four (24) hours of the time of booking, within ten (10) minutes of you having confirmed that you want to make a booking (“Grace Period”).

If your cancellation of a booking is:

• within twenty-four (24) hours of the Appointment Time; or
• after the Grace Period has elapsed,

We will be entitled to retain (or charge, as the case may be) one hundred per cent (100%) of the applicable treatment fee because your cancellation represents a Late Cancellation.

You will also be charged the full Treatment Fee if you:

• Cancel a booking other than as permitted above;
• Attempt to cancel a booking at or after the Appointment Time; or
• Fail to attend a booking at the Appointment Time and/or at the Designated Premises.
• Fail to provide accurate and complete contact details or personal information such as but not limited to full name phone number and address

The non-refundable treatment fee is charged in order to compensate the therapist as it is not reasonable to expect them to be able to provide a Professional Service at another booking where you cancel with short or no notice.

• Please be reminded that you can cancel or reschedule any time before 24 hours to your booking without incurring a fee.

Lateness

• If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may still be able to accommodate you - the therapist may stay and give you as much of a treatment as possible, but please note that they will not be able to complete the full booking past your scheduled appointment time in the event of other bookings that they need to attend. In this case, a late fee of £10 will be applied to your checkout. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.

• In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services.

The Business promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the treatments, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any treatment is performed or services provided, and that all services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. All therapists also have up to date certification from the Disclosure and Barring service (DBS).

No refunds will be provided for the work completed or services performed under this contract unless statutory warranties have been breached in accordance with your consumer rights.

Card on file

The consumer authorises this business to keep their credit/debit card on file for any future transactions on recurring payments until a request for a cancellation has been made.

The consumer agrees and understands that the terms of this authorisation will remain in effect until they request that they be terminated. The consumer acknowledges that they are responsible for making this request in writing.

New customers

Subscription and Bundle packages are only available to clients who have had an initial consultation. Payment for such services will be accepted thereafter and must be paid in full.

Treatments not included in your packages

Additional treatments can be booked in conjunction with your subscription or bundle packages. This will not come with an extra fee and will only cost the original price of treatment.

If you’d like to claim a discount from a referral reward or NHS perk, contact us directly and a checkout link will be sent to you with your discount applied.

You cannot use a Discount Code in conjunction with any bundles, subscriptions or promotional offers unless the specific terms relating to the Promotional Discount Codes state that you can.

NHS

All NHS staff are eligible for a 20% discount for each booking. Please send a picture of your staff ID to our email address or contact number for verification. A payment link will be sent to you once ID has been verified.

The business reserves the right to vary or discontinue a Discount scheme for a bundle or subscription at any time. 

All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by Ascension Sports Therapy and will remain confidential. Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.

Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We have also put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires. 

Your health is your biggest asset and we believe you should take care of your body. Our therapist is a fully qualified professional focused on protecting, restoring and maintaining your health. 

By booking a service through www.ascensionsportstherapy.co.uk you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms. 

You agree you will immediately inform your therapist if you experience any pain or discomfort during your session, so that the therapist can make appropriate adjustments to your level of comfort. 

Due to the nature of the services provided and the need for close contact, the Ascension Sports Therapy therapist will maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and clients are asked to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.

Because massage and other treatment modalities should not be performed under certain medical conditions, you affirm that you have checked with appropriate medical professionals regarding the suitability of this service for you and that you have stated any appropriate medical conditions or alerts during your initial consultation.

Clients are asked not to attend for treatment if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health. Please contact Ascension Sports Therapy via email at info@ascensinosportstherapy.co.uk at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment.

If you are unwell and contact us to inform us of your illness, please note that our Cancellation Policy may still apply. 

In addition to the responsibilities noted above, it is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information at the time of booking or purchase. Failure to provide complete and accurate information may result in a rejection of your booking request, cancellation of your booking, an inability of the therapist to provide the service as requested. Such failure may lead to your payments being ineligible for refund.

In such cases where there has been a failure on your part to provide us with accurate information, our cancellation and refund policy will apply. 

The Services are for your personal and non-commercial use and must only be used for the purposes of inquiring about or making bookings for the professional services listed. 

You must not use Our Site or Services to do any of the following (each of which is strictly prohibited):

• Engage in any inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to illicit or sexually suggestive remarks, sexual advances, drug use, excessive drinking and/or other inappropriate behaviour;

• Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Services;

• Infringe the privacy rights, property rights, or other civil rights of any person;

• Harass, abuse, threaten or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of the therapist, Ascension Sports Therapy or others;

• Harvest, data-mine or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;

• Use technology or other means to access our computer network, unauthorised content or non-public spaces;

• Introduce or attempt to introduce any viruses or any other harmful code, files or programs that interrupt or otherwise limit the Services or Our Site's functionality, or damage, disable or otherwise impair our servers or networks; or

• Engage in or encourage others to engage in criminal or unlawful conduct or breach Our Terms including misuse of the Services for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.

You agree not to breach Our Terms in any way which may result in, among other things, termination or suspension of your access to the Services. We reserve the right to disclose information of suspicious behaviour related but not limited to any of the listed above to law enforcement.
